Your data, handled with care.

This policy explains how Kove Pickleball (“Kove”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. We're committed to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you bought.
• Payment information: handled entirely by our payment provider, Stripe (and Afterpay if you choose it). We never see or store your full card details.
• Messages: anything you send us through our contact or club enquiry forms, or by email.
• Newsletter: your email address (and first name, if you give it) when you subscribe.
• Website usage: anonymous, aggregated data about how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) to help us improve it.

How we use it

• To process, fulfil and deliver your order, and to send order and shipping updates
• To answer your questions and handle returns, Play Promise and warranty claims
• To send marketing emails, only if you've subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it
• To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and consumer law record-keeping

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the store:

• Stripe (payments) and Afterpay (if you pay with Afterpay)
• Our fulfilment partners and couriers, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order
• Resend (email delivery for order confirmations, messages and newsletters)
• Vercel (website hosting, and privacy-friendly analytics that don't use cookies)
• Google Analytics and Meta, only if we've enabled them, to measure site traffic and the performance of our ads

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. We choose reputable providers with strong security and privacy practices, and we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the APPs.

Cookies and tracking

We use local browser storage to remember your cart. Our core analytics don't use cookies. If Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel are enabled, they may set cookies to measure visits and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Keeping it secure

Our site runs over HTTPS, payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers, and access to order information is limited to the people who need it. We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, legal and warranty purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@kovepickleball.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
